大分県の商業施設パークプレイス大分、「シャングリラ」のリニューアル。
単なる遊び場ではなく、「冒険」「考察」「好奇心」というテーマ性をもつ遊具施設。あえて少し高い段差を設け、それを子供たちが冒険していくことで、最初は登れなかった段差も少しずつ登攀できるようになる。その時の感動と成長を強く感じられるように設計した。また光や水や植物などの自然を遊びに取り入れることで、好奇心を持ちながら自然のしくみを考え、いずれは自分たちだけの遊び方を開発していく。まさしく子供の原体験になってもらいたい、そんなメッセージをコンセプトに入れた。朝昼晩と季節で全て違う施設内BGMもプロデュースし、雰囲気作りを重視した。
This playground isn't just a place to play; it's a themed facility centered around “adventure,” “exploration,” and “curiosity.” We deliberately included slightly higher steps, encouraging children to tackle them as adventures. What seemed impossible at first gradually becomes climbable. The design aims to make them feel that sense of wonder and growth intensely. Furthermore, by incorporating natural elements like light, water, and plants into play, children develop curiosity about nature's mechanisms and eventually create their own unique ways to play. The concept embodies the message that this should become a foundational experience for children. We also produced facility background music that changes completely throughout the day and seasons, prioritizing atmosphere creation.
