大分県の商業施設パークプレイス大分、「シャングリラ」のリニューアル。
単なる遊び場ではなく、「冒険」「考察」「好奇心」をテーマにした。あえて少し高い段差を設けて子供が「冒険」することで、少しずつ自分が登れるようになり、その時に成長を感じられるように。光や水や植物などを建築にたくさん自然の要素を取り入れることで、自然のしくみを遊びながら「考察」でき、少しずつ「好奇心」を持って、いずれは自分たちだけで遊び方を開発していく。
まさしく子供の原体験になってもらいたい、そんなメッセージをコンセプトに入れた。また朝昼晩と季節で全て違う施設内BGMもプロデュースし、雰囲気作りを重視した。

It is not just a playground, but rather based on the themes of "adventure," "consideration," and "curiosity. We dared to create slightly higher steps so that children can have "adventures" and gradually learn to climb their own steps, and feel their growth when they do. By incorporating many natural elements such as light, water, and plants into the architecture, children will be able to "consider" how nature works while playing, and gradually become "curious" and eventually develop their own play style.
This is exactly the kind of experience that we want children to have when they are young, and that is the message that we hope to convey in our concept.
We also produced the background music in the facility, which varies from morning, noon, and night, and from season to season, and placed great emphasis on creating an atmosphere.
